DAY 1 (40 minutes’ drive from Arusha town)

ARUSHA NATIONAL PARK
Early in the morning after a short briefing from your safari guide, you will depart to Arusha National Park. This is relatively small but beautiful. Arusha National Park is the closest national park to Kilimanjaro International Airport which is just 18 miles (30 km) away from famous Arusha “safari town,”. The park has an incredible variety of fauna and flora which cannot fail to impress. Hollywood also chose this region to film the movie “Hartari” in which Hardy Kruger starred alongside the legendary John Wayne. Your trip will include a visit to the Ngurdoto Crater, often labeled as the “Little Ngorongoro” and the “Little Serengeti”. Buffaloes, waterbucks, giraffes, warthogs, zebras and Guereza can be seen all year round as well as many different bird species. The elephants are more shy at Arusha National Park than the elephants in the Serengeti. Occasionally, one may also spot a leopard. At the Momella Gate, an armed ranger will be waiting to accompany you on your walking safari. This will give you a chance to experience the wildlife up-close.

Dinner and overnight at your campsite ground/hostel inside the park.

DAY 2 (2.5-hour drive)

TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

In the morning, after breakfast you will drive for approximately 2.5-hours to reach next destination the Tarangire National Park. As you enter the park, your guide will open up the roof for your better viewing experience. The landscape is made up of seasonal marshes and a seemingly endless tree savannah with its mighty baobab trees. Tarangire National Park has some of the highest population density of elephants anywhere in Tanzania, and its sparse vegetation, makes it a beautiful and special location. Dinner and overnight at your basecamp inside the park.

DAY 3 (1.25-hour drive)

MANYARA NATIONAL PARK

We depart from your lodge at Tarangire national park and proceed to Lake Manyara National Park. Although small in size, this park is one of the most diverse reserves in the country. Lake Manyara covers two thirds of the park. At the backdrop is the wall of the Great Rift Valley, before which lies the ground water forest, areas of open grassland near the lake foreshore, and the Soda Lake. We enjoy a picnic lunch in this area, which consists of open grassy areas, hot springs, dense woodlands and steep mountainsides. Lake Manyara National Park is a birding paradise that has more than 350 species of bird. The park is also famed for its unique and elusive tree-climbing lions. Diner and overnight at your base camp outside the park.

DAY 4&5 (4.5-hour drive)

SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

Today you will set off to the Serengeti National Park. After passing the crater highlands, you will soon see the plains of the southern Serengeti and start to understand the meaning of the word “Serengeti” which stands for endless plain. The Serengeti is home to the largest animal migration on the planet. Depending on the time of the year and the location of the big herds.

These two days are dedicated for game viewing in the Serengeti National Park. During the short rainy season in November and December the herds move from the hills in the north to the plains in the south. During the longer rainy season from April to June they return up north. As the migration is completely dependent on the yearly rainfalls, the location of the herds may vary from year to year but your guide will know where to locate the animals and where to see them best.

DAY 6 (4-hour drive)

LAKE EYASI (BUSHMEN CULTURAL EXPERIENCE)

We depart after breakfast to Lake Eyasi for cultural experience. You will arrive at Lake Eyasi  4-hours’ drive and meet your local guide for little brief about your new program for the next few hours and next day as well. Lake Eyasi is rich of unspoiled culture from two indigenous Bushmen tribes which are Datoga and Hadzabe the last hunters and gatherers tribe left in Tanzania. Hadzabe people will teach you how to grow with no food and survive with no medicine in the bush. You will have chance to interact and explore Datoga traditional way of life. After Datoga experience you will drive to far BLiT fly camp expedition, in BLiT fly camp you will feel like walking on earth in 200s years back because the camp is just located in the middle of nowhere deep inside the bush surrounded by big stones with great view of Lake Eyasi sunset. And this is going to be your first sundown point in Africa. Tonight you will be chilling with Bushmen people around bonfire making stories before joining them for night hunting game. The hunt is always for men but you all will have chance to join them if you would like to because they still hunt in morning also so you can choose which one is for you. Diner and overnight at your base camp.
